Alumni Jennifer Lato AIFD, CFD presented an exciting program through zoom for students in the Environmental Horticulture and Floristry Department at City College of San Francisco. Jennifer’s main topics of working in a floral studio and the impacts of COVID in local businesses were engaging for the students. She shared the actual studio operations of Michael Daigian Design through zoom. This enabled the students to see a real local business in operation. She discussed many aspects of being a freelance designer and the process to become AIFD®. Her insights and tips for success with the AIFD® process and exhibit designing were shared.
The program was sponsored by the Environmental Horticulture and Floristry Department at City College of San Francisco and Michael Daigian Design. Nineteen people attended the presentation which included CCSF students, instructor Jenny Tabarracci AIFD, CFD, department chairman Steven Brown AIFD, CFD and bay area industry florist Michael Daigian.
