Join with the AIFD® North East region as we experience this Fall themed presentation where Jason Parent AIFD will explore the floral design element of Texture. For those of you who follow Jason’s social media accounts (@JasonParentAIFDCFD), you already know how he excels in this particular component of design.
For the first half of the program, Jason will present arrangements and bridal designs, including his signature body flowers for men. There will be a break, after which, attendees will be treated to a fun presentation that will show off Jason’s unique, whimsical style. His inspiration comes from all around the world and promises to stimulate your senses.
Jason, a 3rd generation florist, began designing at the early age of 8 in the family business. Currently he is a member of the design team at Fleur De Lis Floral Design in South Portland, Maine. Here, he specializes in weddings and special events. Besides being a member of AIFD, he is also recognized as Certified Floral Designer, Maine Master Floral Designer and Past President of the Maine Floral Association.
Bring your flannel (bonus points if it’s Jason’s signature color-blue!)! We’ll supply the flowers, bonfire and smores! This is an outdoor event with plenty of room to keep safe and still network with our floral family. Light refreshments, snacks and beverages will be served.
