For 2022 AIFD® Symposium ’ROOTS’, we committed 100% to selecting a line-up of presenters who are not only considered some of the best designers in the world, but first and foremost, those who have shown dedication to TEACHING from stage and in their workshops. We requested that they share their most effective teaching methods on stage, and to employ technology, where applicable, to share with us how we can reset floristry education to new heights for our first symposium back together again in 3 years.
To accompany the exciting, education driven, programming at ROOTS Symposium, we are planning to celebrate and recognize some of the AIFD® educators who have inspired, encouraged, and nurtured some of our best designers today, On Wednesday, July 6, we would like to bring on to our stage some of these skillful ROOT 2 BLOOM teachers, to applaud them for their dedication to the success of their students, and to the teaching profession as a whole.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Let’s hear the amazing stories of that floral teacher in your early days, the teacher who encouraged you, that led you to your success today. Who were your early supporters, your teachers who made the difference to your design career?
Please submit your story to help us select the AIFD® mentors who will be honored on stage at our celebration. The future of floristry is dependent on the teachings of our finest AIFD® educators today.
Then, be sure to join us on July 6 at 4:15pm, to cheer on our teachers as they are featured on the Main Stage!
Please send your story to: hitomi@hitomi-art.com.
Deadline for nominations is May 15! We are excited to accept your entries for ROOT 2 BLOOM!
