On June 5th, the Arizona State FFA Summer Conference took place in Tucson, Arizona. I was asked to present a teacher’s workshop for 24 agricultural instructors showing and explaining the Principles and Elements of design. I was joined by Joyce Mason-Monheim AIFD, who made handouts for each instructor to take with them and Christina Ignatius CFD, who demonstrated wiring techniques for boutonnieres.
Each instructor created a corsage, bout and either a round, oval or one sided design. Great questions were asked and beautiful arrangements were made. It was a honor for us to help teach those who are teaching our youth.
