The students in the Environmental Horticulture and Floristry Department at City College of San Francisco were delighted to have alumni Jennifer Lato AIFD, CFD present for them. Jennifer inspired the students with her wedding, event and corporate designs. She discussed many aspects of the industry and explained the difference between trend, commercial, and artistic designing. Jennifer discussed her journey working for Michael Daigian Design for 12 years and the steps she took to become AIFD. Jennifer awed the students with her eco- friendly materials, textures and colors. She explained how to re-use props/materials and ways to bring out your inner creativity.
The program was sponsored by the Environmental Horticulture and Floristry Department at City College of San Francisco and Michael Daigian Design. Thirty-one people attended the presentation which included CCSF students, instructor Jenny Tabarracci AIFD, CFD, department chairman Steven Brown AIFD, CFD and bay area industry florist Michael Daigian.
