Floral designers from across the world will have the opportunity to grow their floral design knowledge and business at the American Institute of Floral Designers™ (AIFD®) National Symposium “2020 Vision” taking place in Chicago, Ill., July 2 – 7, 2020.
Symposium is a six-day event that provides opportunities for high-level education, networking, beautifully decorated meal functions, and more. The schedule includes not only, the extravagant main stage programs and highly sought after hands-on workshops but also the enhanced education sessions and a Kennicott Shopping Experience.

AIFD Symposium is a time when aspiring designers, endeavoring to achieve AIFD’s Certified Floral Designer (CFD®) designation and ultimately an invitation to become an accredited member of AIFD, will participate in the AIFD Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE). The PFDE will take place on Thursday, July 2.
For the greatest value AIFD highly recommends the Premium Registration. This includes all programs, seminars (except for those indicated otherwise, such as the Hands-On Workshops), and all meal functions. However, there are other options designed to fit everyone’s budget and time restrictions. A General Registration includes all general sessions, the opening reception and Partners’ Showcase. Attendees may opt for a Single Day Registration and view only the programs and activities on the day(s) of their choice. And the Partners’ Showcase Only option is for those local florists who want to take a few hours to view the fabulous products being displayed during the Partners’ Showcase.
