International Representative of ‘AIFD Korea’
The 2024 ‘AIFD Korea’ Fall Seminar was held on October 5th in Seoul, South Korea. ‘AIFD Korea’ was established in 2014 with 63 AIFD members. For the last decade, members have met twice a year, a general meeting in Spring and a Seminar in fall.
In the morning session, Minsook Lee (Representative) reported to members participated about Orlando PFDE exam. Then, Eun Sook Noh (International Representative) explained about Designs of the Decades and urged members to participate in the competition. This year, 3 new members who were inducted in Orlando joined in ‘AIFD Korea’. Last but not least, we elected new Representatives. Yeon-Hwan Kim AIFD was chosen as the new representative and Kyung-Hee Wang volunteered to be the new international representative. They are going to serve for AIFD Korea for the next two years.
In the afternoon session, we invited some AIFD members from other Asian countries and had meaningful moments. Kazuhiko Danaka AIFD (Japan), Anson Low AIFD (Singapore), Solomon Leong AIFD (Hong Kong), Kathy Ong (China) took part in the ‘AIFD Korea’ afternoon session presenting their designs.
