The Arkansas Florists Association is proud to present Jennifer Jones, AIFD, CFD, AMF, AAMF, as a recipient of the AIFD Inspire and Empower Scholarship! Jennifer recently competed in the Arkansas Cup Designer of the Year Competition, held in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she took First Place overall — and won First Place in all three individual categories. An incredible achievement!

Jennifer is the owner and lead floral designer of Jennifer’s Designs in Winthrop, Arkansas. Her passion for floristry began early — by the age of seven, she already knew she wanted to be a florist. At just 13 years old, Jennifer designed and created the floral arrangements for an entire wedding, and by 15 she was working part-time in the floral industry.
Jennifer has dedicated 38 years to the floral profession. In 2022, she earned her Arkansas Master Florist (AMF) certification and Certified Floral Designer (CFD) designation. In 2023, she successfully passed the Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) and was inducted into the prestigious American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD).
Jennifer is the current Arkansas Designer of the Year and will represent Arkansas in the Mid-America Cup Competition in August.
• 2022: Won the Arkansas Scholarship Competition, which she used to travel to Jacksonville, Florida for an advanced certification and competition course • 2023: Won the Nick Schembra Iron Designer Competition. • Placed 3rd in the 2023 Arkansas Cup Designer of the Year Competition. • Elected to the Arkansas Florists Association Board of Directors • Began assisting with instruction for the Arkansas Master Florist (AMF) classes and received AAMF certification.
Jennifer’s dedication to education, competition, and service to the floral industry is truly inspiring. Jennifer has been married to her husband, Joe, for 35 years. He has been her greatest supporter throughout her career. Together, they have two sons, and Jennifer credits her family’s unwavering support as a vital part of her success.⸻
