We are extremely excited to have Bruno Duarte participate in this year’s 2022 Las Vegas “ROOTS” Symposium 2022 as one of our presenters. Bruno is a very accomplished designer who will be showcasing his work alongside the other incredible lineup of presenters.
Bruno will be giving a lecture/demonstration titled ‘Roots to Creation’, where he will explore the use of different roots and vines, and the techniques needed to create unique and interesting structures with them. His program will be full of inspiration on how to embellish the structures after they are created.
If you don’t know Bruno Duarte yet, here are a few facts about him:
Bruno grew up surrounded by flowers on his family’s farm in Madeira. His approach to floral design is both sculptural and emotional, blending organic materials and found
objects together to create works of art. When he’s not at his studio or his flower store, Bruno can be found creating arrangements in front of a live audience in many places in the USA, or other international destinations. He has won the CAFA award at Canada Blooms Florist Alley in 2017 and 2018, and the people’s choice award in 2018. He has also won the Pacific Northwest Floral Design Competition in 2018. He had the great opportunity to represent Canada in Singapore in 2018 in Windows of the World at their garden show. He won Floral Artist of the year 2019 at Canada Blooms, he received second place at Maple Leaf Cup 2019, and won the CAFA award for most creative use of materials at the Maple Leaf Cup 2019.
He has been the proud owner of Fresh Floral Creations, a very successful floral store in Toronto, that’s been in business for over 17 years.
We are thrilled to share that during Symposium Bruno will also be leading one of the workshops. His workshop entitled ‘Rooting Design Inspirations’, is a hands on workshop and will be a great opportunity to practice the techniques that he will talk about and demonstrate during his lecture.
We are really delighted that he is part of “Roots” Symposium. We hope to see you there!
Wanted to see where Bruna got the angel vine that was used in his program. If you could send the vendor name and/or contact it would be appreciate.
