Designers who volunteer often say it is the most exciting part of attending an AIFD Symposium, working in the heart and pulse of what brings this artistic extravaganza to life. AIFD is all volunteer run, however we need some Super Stars to bring it to life.
As the new year starts, it is important to look to the future and think about all those people, both past and present, that have made a difference in our careers and have been personal inspirations. We are surrounded with those persons who inspire us to achieve new levels of creativity! As chairperson of the Awards Committee, I am asking you to take a minute to think about the people and companies that support and inspire us on a daily basis, and to recognize their contributions for an award during AIFD Symposium “GROW” in July.
This past holiday season, North Central held a “Show us your favorite Holiday Design” competition. Each competitor was required to post a photo of their favorite “Holiday Arrangement” on the North Central Chapter’s Facebook page for a chance to win a Symposium Registration.
