The Florida State Florist Association celebrated their hundredth year at their 2021 annual conference. The three-day event took place on August 27-29 in Weston, Fla. and was filled with design competitions, presentations, vendor booths and an award ceremony gala.
October 14th is coming up quickly, and 50 ambitious floral artists have that date circled in red on their calendars! Those 50 artists will be attending the AIFD Floral Summit and taking the Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE®) with the goal of achieving accreditation through the American Institute of Floral Designers®.
BloomNet will match member florist donations dollar for dollar, up to $5,000, that are contributed to the AIFD Foundation Catastrophic Fund. Grants, awarded from this fund, provide assistance to impacted florists with property damage resulting from a natural disaster.
