As organizations grow and develop there needs to be a guide; where have we been, where are we are going and the implementing of a plan for the future. A strategic plan helps define goals, creative ideas for a change in approach and a manner to move forward in a positive direction.

When I was asked to chair the Symposium it was both a scary and exciting thought. On one hand it would be the biggest challenge of my life and the other it was the opportunity to take my favorite things about an AIFD Symposium and bring them all together to inspire designers from across the globe.

Arkansas Florist Association held its 67th annual convention September 6 – 8, 2019 in Little Rock, AR. The association is home to numerous design competitions, from entry level to advanced. The one with the most prestige was the 13th annual Mid America Cup Invitational Competition.
