In December 2024, the Society of Chinese Members of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) proudly partnered with the World Orchid Association (Malaysia Chapter) and the Kim Loo Teng Temple to present the 6th ZEN Artistry International Floral Exhibition titled 《花中说禅~佛前供花》, held in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur.
This year’s exhibition was a spectacular celebration of creativity and cultural exchange, featuring 30 internationally renowned floral artists alongside 12 talented AIFD designers from 11 countries. Among them were over 10 distinguished Chinese members of AIFD, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise to the event.
The exhibition’s theme beautifully blended Western floral design techniques with the tranquil aesthetics of Eastern Zen artistry, fostering a captivating dialogue between two rich traditions. This fusion not only showcased the versatility of floral design but also demonstrated how flowers can transcend cultural boundaries, inspiring transformation in both our surroundings and spirits.
