Marisa Guerrero AIFD, CFD from the South Central Chapter shares, “I recently had the opportunity to judge a floral design competition at our local county fair. It was the first time that a floral competition for students had occurred, and it was wonderful! Many area high schools were represented at the competition and the students did a fantastic job. These students are the future of floristry and it is so important to nurture them. They will be informed consumers, excited designers, and incoming leaders. Join me in giving back to your local floral community as often as you can.”
