Dear AIFD Members and Floral Family,
As my term as the National President of AIFD comes to an end, I reflect on an incredible journey filled with accomplishments, challenges, and unforgettable moments. It has been an honor and privilege to serve this remarkable organization and its talented members.
One of my primary focuses this year has been the transition with our new management team. We have worked diligently to ensure a smooth handover and to establish a foundation for future success. Together, we have streamlined our organization’s finances, ensuring that AIFD remains financially robust and capable of supporting its mission and goals.
I have had the pleasure of participating in various Chapter events, witnessing firsthand the passion and creativity that our members bring to the floral industry. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the strength and potential of our community.
Working closely with committee chairs, volunteer leaders, and the AIFD Foundation, we have made significant strides in advancing our initiatives and projects. The dedication and hard work of these individuals have been truly inspiring, and I am confident that their continued efforts will drive AIFD forward.
Throughout my term, I have worked to set a tone of positivity, fostering an environment where collaboration can thrive. I believe that a positive outlook and a supportive community are essential for the growth and success of our organization.
The highlight of my year as president has undoubtedly been the preparation for the 2024 Emerge symposium, which will take place next July in Orlando. This event promises to be a spectacular gathering of our floral family, filled with learning, inspiration, and celebration. I eagerly anticipate reuniting with many of you and welcoming new members to our vibrant community.
As I pass the torch to the next president Laurie Lemek AIFD, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and pride. Thank you for your trust, support, and dedication to AIFD. Together, we have accomplished so much, and I am excited to see what the future holds for our organization.
