Active members in good standing of AIFD, have the opportunity to nominate AIFD members forawards. Take precaution to read the criteria of each award and nominate the right person for the correct award. Offer specific details as to why they deserve your recommendation. An award of great respect is the Award of Merit Industry.
Whom should you consider for this important designation?
This award is presented to members of the floral industry who are not members of AIFD but who are involved in the floral industry.
To receive this award, your nominee must meet this criteria:
- Is this individual, group or company an AIFD partner?
- Has this individual, group or company provided support or contributions to AIFD?
- Is this individual, group or company members of other allied or trade organizations?
- What specific contributions has this individual, group or company made to the advancement of the floral industry?
How to Submit a Nomination:
Nominations will be received October 1, 2025 – February 26, 2026.
- Visit the aifd.org website. Click on Award of Merit Industry.
- Fully complete the form with pertinent information. Attach a personal letter of recommendation.
- Follow website instructions for submitting both documents to AIFD.
Form or campaign letters will not be considered. Letters of recommendation are kept on file for two years.
