Chrisoula P. Baltas AIFD, CFD
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia , Canada

I didn’t grow up in the floral industry. In the spring of 2017 while on a trip to the US  I found a school and started taking classes. I fell in love with designing.  I was lucky to do several internships there and trained with wedding and event designers, a few high end retail shops and most recently with an interior design wholesaler who specializes in permanent botanicals.  For me being accredited, in addition to being a personal goal would help give my customers the confidence that I knew what I was doing with the added bonus of being part of a group I could continue to learn from and grow.

Ayaka Kinzel AIFD, CFD
Altadena, California

I started designing with flowers 8 years ago right after I moved to the U.S. from Japan. Since then, creating unique floral designs became my passion. My designs combine the techniques of Japanese Ikebana, European and Western styles. I enjoy working with fresh, artificial, preserved and dried flowers and plant materials to create unique arrangements. I am honored to be inducted as an AFID member. I look forward to learning and experimenting with new design concepts as an AIFD member.

Anahita Noshirvani AIFD, CFD
Henderson, Nevada

I’ve been working as a designer over 25 years. I start with Persian calligraphy & its painting, then get a BA degree in Industrial Design, & then work as a convention booth designer for 5 years. After moving to the US since 2009, I find floral design & start studying this field, & with wonderful instructor, coach, friend, & help of Chieko Fukushima that I find my way to floral design. During education, I had many awards in 2 years AIFD student competition, for example in 2015 1st place for bridal bouquet. In the last, I can say that I like always trying to be an artist & creative designer.

Adele Huculak AIFD, CFD
Leduc, Alberta, Canada

Flowers have been passed down from my mother to become a central part of my personal story. My mother opened Corinthia Flowers in 1975, and as a young girl of twelve I worked alongside her on weekends and after school. She taught me everything she knew, and I owe much of my knowledge in the trade to her and other mentors over the years including Ken Linkewich of Margo’s Flowers. I have owned and operated our store for the last 23 years, creating florals for many occasions and events. I am very excited to become a part of the AIFD family and continue my journey in education and collaboration!
