We asked each of our 2020 inductees to tell us a little about themselves. Take a minute to get to know the rest of the inductees. Make sure you say “Hi” next year when we can meet in person!
Jess Liu AIFD, CFD
Fremont, California
By 2016, my love for flowers won my little personal battle I was having with my career choice and I left my full time job to focus solely on flowers and I have never looked back. I love what I do and I have worked very hard to get where I am today as AIFD but I could not have done it without the support and love of my family and friends and this wonderful community. For me the best thing about what I do is seeing the joy that flowers bring to others. In fact, this is what fuels me to do my job as best as I can.
Lynne Tischler AIFD, CFD
St. Paul, Minnesota
My favorite flowers are the mutant ones; a two headed tulip, a gerbera that is misshapen. Those extraordinary blossoms remind me to be my unique self and to adapt. My favorite installation or event is one I have not done yet; a new or different theme, structure, or color palette. I have been chief problem solver at Your Enchanted Florist in St. Paul. MN since 2002. I have been a florist for almost 26 years now, it has been a goal to become AIFD for quite some time. I am honored to be part of this organization.
