I had the pleasure of attending the Swan Island Dahlia Farm Festival in Canby OR on September 17-20th. What a fantastic and beautiful area!
The NW Region’s Vice President, Robbyn Repp AIFD coordinated a wonderful design competition where 13 competitors using dahlia’s created amazing floral pieces. Myself, Leanne Kesler AIFD and Trish Nishikawa AIFD served as judges.
Robbyn and her team, Trish Nishikawa AIFD, Annie Chen AIFD, Jodi Kennedy AIFD and Michelle Drummer AIFD conducted workshops and ran the registrations with ease.
So many people enjoying the love of Dahlia’s!!
Robbyn is also an awesome tour guide and gave me so much information about the area!
I had such a great time in Oregon!
I also had the honor of being the first AIFD President to do a “Live” with Floral Design Institutes very own, Leanne Kesler AIFD at their new facility! What a treat that was!
Thank you for the invitation David and Leanne and the ride to the airport!!
