Up in the Pacific Northwest Region, a buzzing excitement has been building up in anticipation of the first NW chapter event. We will be hosting the sensational botanical artist Julia Rose, all the way from Australia! She is internationally renowned for her Interactive and immersive floral art installations, drawing crowds of thousands to experience the pieces, most recently as a guest designer at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Julia has a fabulous reputation for her sumptuous organic and naturally eclectic wearable designs, which the demonstration and hands-on workshop will focus on. This will be a tiny teaser of what this year’s audience at the National Symposium, Emerge will get to experience as Julia takes to the main stage in Orlando this July with her program “Color My World: Floral Couture Concept Development”.
We will be partnering with Washington Floral Services at their Tacoma location on Sunday, March 3rd for a full-day event. It will be open to all floral designers wanting to up their game in floral couture, capturing artistic imagery and social media expression.
