Dear Fellow Members,
As we continue to grow and evolve as an organization, I am reminded of the incredible strength that comes from working together. As we move into spring and enter a period where many chapters are planning fundraising events, I want to take a moment to reflect on one of the most powerful pillars that hold our organization strong: mentorship and volunteerism.
Throughout my journey with AIFD, I’ve seen firsthand how impactful these two values are in shaping not just the future of our organization, but also the growth of individual members and the entire floral community. Whether you’re offering your expertise to a budding designer or contributing your time to one of our many events or initiatives, your involvement is making a difference.
Mentorship is a beautiful way to give back to this incredible industry that has given so much to each of us. It’s about sharing your knowledge, wisdom, and experience with those who are eager to learn and grow. By guiding the next generation of floral artists, we ensure that our legacy continues to thrive, and we build a stronger, more vibrant future for the profession.
Volunteerism, too, is essential to our success. The work that we do as a collective is driven by the hands and hearts of volunteers. Whether it’s helping with educational programs, participating in events, or serving on committees, each contribution strengthens our community. I encourage all of you to consider ways you can give back, whether big or small. Your time and talents are invaluable to the continued success of AIFD.
As your President, I am deeply grateful for each of you who serves and supports AIFD through these meaningful channels. Together, we can continue to elevate the floral design industry and ensure its growth for years to come.
