Each year, the AIFD® Symposium welcomes floral designers and enthusiasts from around the globe for an unforgettable celebration of creativity, innovation, and artistry. Behind the magic of this world-class event is a dedicated team of Ambassadors—passionate volunteers who help bring every detail of the Symposium to life.
Launched in 2018, the AIFD® Ambassador Program offers a one-of-a-kind, hands-on learning experience that immerses participants in every facet of Symposium production. From behind-the-scenes teamwork to interactive design projects, Ambassadors gain insider access, build valuable connections, and create lasting friendships—all while contributing to an event that inspires hundreds.
Whether you’re new to the floral industry, attending Symposium for the first time, or simply eager to be part of something bigger, this experience will open doors, spark creativity, and elevate your floral journey.
Applications open November 1! Positions are limited, so reserve your spot early to secure your place in this transformative program.
What to Expect
Prerequisites:
- Submit your Ambassador Application Form by May 1, 2026
- Be prepared for physical activity (standing, walking, lifting, carrying)
- No floral design experience required — just enthusiasm, teamwork, and a can-do attitude
- Must be 18 years or older
Eligibility:
- Open to the first 50 applicants who complete registration
- Everyone is welcome — floral design skills helpful but not required
- Note: AIFD® National/Regional Board Members, Committee Members, PFDE Candidates, Certified Evaluators participating in the PFDE session, SAIFD Members, and FFA attendees are not eligible
Commitment:
- The Ambassador Experience runs June 29–July 6, 2026
- Attend orientation and training sessions
- Volunteer 5 hours per day for 5 days (schedule allows participation in other Symposium events)
- Choose your shift: June 28–July 3 or July 2–July 6
