Your AIFD® National Board of Directors met face-to-face in Las Vegas prior to a packed week of activities in conjunction with Symposium. Here are just a few of the take aways from the meeting, and the incredible week encompassing PFDE®, Symposium, Induction and so much more…
- Over 930 attendees rekindled and forged new friendships in Las Vegas. For the first time, AIFD® provided a lives stream experience of Symposium’s main stage events, with an app that linked virtual and in-person attendees, enabling all to expand their connections.
- Individuals registered for both Symposium and Live Streaming will have access to the recorded content until October 8. In the next week, attendees will receive an email notifying them that the recorded content is available to access through the same Whova app and platform used on-site. We hope all attendees enjoy this enhancement.
- Your 2022-23 National Board of Directors assumed office. We enthusiastically welcome our returning and new national board members. We have an exciting year ahead of us and this great group of inspiring leaders is hitting the ground running. Learn more.

With over 25 new illustrations, water resistant pages, lie flat binding, and over 150 new terms, the 3rd edition is sure to enhance learning in the floral design industry for years to come. A limited number of signed copies will be available through AIFD®’s virtual store very shortly. Member pricing is $150.00+ shipping. Non-member pricing is $180.00 + shipping. Be sure to watch for the announcement once these books are available to order from headquarters in the next few weeks.
- AIFD® was proud to formally welcome our 2022 Inductees to the AIFD® family. This strong group proved that COVID can’t keep the floral industry down. AIFD® also honored the 31 2020 inductees; it was a long overdue acknowledgement of their accomplishment. Access a free recording for the entire ceremony here on AIFD’s Vimeo page.
