A Hands-On Workshop with Ron Mulray – Presented by the AIFD^® North East Region

Ron is a well-known member of the AIFD^® family at both regional and national levels. He plays a pivotal role in the AIFD^® NE Region annual Philadelphia Flower Show exhibit. Those fortunate enough to have worked with Ron or attended one of his classes, realize what a fantastic floral artist he is. In 2012, AIFD^® presented him with a Special Award of Recognition for his meritorious and dedicated services to the organization.

AIFD^® North East is proud to offer this hands-on, social distancing style, education workshop to several lucky, first come, first served, attendees. Three projects will be completed including a study in minimalism designed in a “Ron Original” frog. Ron says he never knows when or where inspiration will hit him and this time it happened at the pet store. Project two involves a “prop” with endless possibilities using shape, pattern, form, texture and more in the designs. Project three will teach how to create the popular wire armature used in European bouquets. The diversity of this technique will be explored as attendees create the most full and complex piece of the day. This event, open to anyone, is a fantastic opportunity to learn from one of the industry’s most creative minds.
