Ten talented designers from all over the world brought their best skills to South Korea to compete in a new and exciting competition call the Goyang Flower Grand Prix. Of the 10 competitors, three were AIFD. Congratulations to Jenny Thomasson AIFD, USA, Aniko Kovacs AIFD, Canada and Florence Ling AIFD, Hong Kong.
This new competition took place during the Horticultural Goyang Expo in South Korea which is a renowned international event showcasing various aspects of horticulture, including gardening, landscaping, and floral design. It provides a platform for exhibitors from around the world to display their innovations and exchange knowledge. The expo typically features stunning displays of flowers, plants, and gardening techniques, attracting visitors and enthusiasts alike. It’s a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature and learn about the latest trends in horticulture.
Competitors in the first Goyang Flower Grand Prix competed over four days with various tasks and their creations were evaluated by a panel of world renowned judges.
